How to Install VisualSVN & Configure Eclipse to use SVN for Source Control

In this video we’ll be setting up VisualSVN Server and configuring Eclipse to use the Subversive SVN plugin for source control using a Subversion server on our Windows 10 development machine. We’ll also give a basic lesson on using SVN for source control. Topics include committing and reverting changes and traversing the revision history to update your working copy to any given revision. Again, our focus here is Android development using Eclipse, so we’ll be using an Android project for our demonstration.

Setting up Eclipse Mars on Windows 10 for Android Development

Common ADT / SDK installation problem – after installing the ADT Plugin, Eclipse shows it installed but doesn’t show any of the ADT options. Solution – eclipse must be run as administrator when installing new software. plugins installed while not run as admin will need to be uninstalled and reinstalled.
